White Viva

Dressing:
Hook:
Kamasan B175 size 10 or 12
Tying Thread:
Black
Tail:
Red Glo-Brite No. 3 Crimson Fluorescent Floss
Body:
White Sparkle Chenille
Wing:
White Marabou
Head:
Black tying thread
Optional:
Lead Foil under head
Comments: Run Black thread down the hook to the start of the bend.

Tie in four strands of floss for the tail, and cut to about ¼".

Tie in White chenille, run thread back up to just before the eye.

Turn chenille up to the thread and secure.

Place White marabou over the back of the chenille and secure.

Make up head with thread, and whip finish and varnish.

Fish this on an intermediate line.  I normally count down 8 to 10 seconds and then vary the retrieve from slow to long pulls.

A variation is tied with lead foil under the head - put the lead at the front of the head, it adds to the movement!
