| Comments: |
Run the Lime Green floss
down the hook to just round the bend, and wind a short tag.
Fix in the rib.
Dub on the hare’s fur on to the floss.
Wind up to the head.
Turn rib three or four times up to the head and secure.
Whip finish and varnish head.
Pick out the fur.
As a variation add a Gold Bead head, or alternatively lead wire, to
weight the fly.
It is fished as a single fly in the middle to the top of the water. The
sparser the fur becomes, the more the fluorescent body material shows
through.
